The Huddle
Hey Coaches and Athletes! Here’s what’s happening this week:
We’ve got a new training tip, a fresh face as our MVP, and some serious growth ahead. Whether you have your own team, are a parent looking to help your athlete improve, or are a driven athlete yourself, we’ve got something for everyone!
Training Tips
Understand the Power of Competition
Gamify your training! Whether you are competing against a partner, team, or yourself, make sure you are competing! Set goals, chase them, track your progress, and compete until you achieve them!

Coaching Concepts
Ground Up Coaching
When instructing mechanics begin at the ground and work your way up. Work with the athlete on body mechanics beginning with their feet. This establishes a strong base for the entire movement to work off of. This will rapidly increase the rate of improvement and allow the athlete to see and feel fast results. This creates a positive feedback loop and drive to work towards more improvement.
